 On October 18^th, visitors to the Klingberg Antique Auto Show will be able to experience more than great clam chowder, chili stuffed potatoes and acres of classic and antique cars. A new addition to this year’s show is the TD Banknorth Expo Tent, featuring our sponsor showcase, vintage vendors and historical displays. Meet some of our supporters, shop for holiday gifts, or find a special fashion item to match the era of a favorite show car.

Browse through and see exquisite examples of gorgeous hats and accessories, as well as vintage and retro clothing and jewelry. With a background in texture and design, artist Susan Bass Fine designs what is being called, “dazzling wearable art” - - beautiful and meticulously hand crafted belt buckles, pins and pin-dants (pins that are worn as a necklace). Each one-of-a-kind piece is embellished with Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, sterling, antique medallions, and other artifacts from around the globe. Every creation is lovingly hand-crafted, exhibiting unique beauty through simplicity and design.  Celebrating the best from the past is not just reserved for our Vintage/Retro Shoppe, be sure to check out displays by the New Britain Industrial Museum and the CT Vintage Radio and Communications Museum. Local Author Stephen Goddard will be available for a book signing and to share stories from his book, Colonel Pope and His American Dream Machines.  Mr. Goddard’s insights are sure to inspire visitors to attend our 2009 show featuring Connecticut-made cars.

Listen to your Oldies Favorites played by DJ Dave Salonia, then take a swing on our Webster Bank dance floor with the Fred Astaire dancers.
